Rev. Samuel Lee, Pastor

Rev. Samuel Lee is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and is honored to serve Freeport United Methodist Church.

Rev. Lee's faith journey became deeply personal during a youth retreat when he experienced God's saving grace in a life-threatening accident. Since then, he has felt called to help others encounter the love, grace, and transforming power of Jesus Christ.

He is passionate about preaching God's Word, nurturing spiritual growth, building authentic Christian community, and helping people deepen their relationship with Christ. His vision for the church is inspired by the early church in Acts 2—a community devoted to worship, Scripture, fellowship, prayer, and caring for one another.

Rev. Lee believes that the church is more than a place people attend; it is a family of faith where people grow together as disciples of Jesus Christ and share God's love with the community.

He has previously served congregations in Connecticut and on Long Island and is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving God's people through ministry, worship, pastoral care, and outreach.

In his free time, he enjoys music, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and exploring good restaurants. He is passionate about helping people deepen their relationship with Christ and grow together as the body of Christ.
